The Longines Spirit Pilot features a redesigned stainless steel 39 mm case with improved ergonomics and a refined aesthetic keeping the charm of the case profile and complementing brushed and polished surfaces. Rather than being secured by 6 screws the new caseback is screwed down into the case. Speaking of which, the case height has been reduced from 12.2mm to 11.5.

The clean matt black dial has done away with the 5 stars and replaces them with two lines of text: “Chronometer – Officially certified” along with the removal of the date window at 3. The Spirit Pilot is powered by the same Longines self-winding calibre L888.4, featuring a silicon balance-spring that provides magnetic resistance 10 times greater than the ISO 764 standard.

This is available on stainless steel bracelet featuring a double safety folding clasp with micro-adjustment, a brown leather strap on Longines deployant clasp which features an on the fly integrated micro adjustment, or a new textile-style green rubber strap with pin buckle.

We first saw this watch earlier this year at an invitation only event held by Longines under embargo. Embodying the clean aesthetics from the titanium version but now in steel and at a size suitable for a broad range of wrist sizes this stood out as an immediate favourite of the event – along with the white 39mm legend diver also revealed at the same event. We only hope that like the legend diver Longines will also choose to release this is a white dialled variant.

With its 100m water resistance, simple yet classy aesthetics, ideal proportions and high-performing COSC movement this is a frankly stunning value proposition that could equally serve in both formal and more casual social settings alike – a perfect GADA (Go Anywhere Do Anything) watch.

The new G40 is available in 3 dial variants: the traditional black dial, the White dial Sub Hunter and the iconic Sonar model – first envisioned as a homage to the CWC stopwatch used in the movie Mission Impossible 6 Fallout.

According to Oris, “The colours are lifted from nature, particularly the deep ocean green, a shade that also picks up on the oaky green tones of the forested hills that surround our Hölstein factory.” Behind the watch’s retro façade is a contemporary mechanical chronograph movement, Oris Calibre 771. As well as providing running-second and chronograph 30-minute subdial indications, it also delivers an impressive 62-hour power reserve.

The entire Seamaster Diver 300M collection recently underwent a comprehensive revamp, with new mesh bracelets, domed sapphire crystals, and oxalic anodised aluminium bezels. These latest models continue that same design theme, while establishing their own identity through a black and orange colourway.

Each 42 mm timepiece is distinguished by its black aluminium dial, with rhodium plated skeletonized hands and indexes that are filled with white Super-LumiNova for a blue glow in dark conditions. Most notably, the central seconds hand is coated with an orange varnish, along with the indexes at the four quarter positions. There is also an orange Seamaster name, located beneath an OMEGA logo that is transferred in white.

This new orange style has been delivered in two different expressions. Either on a brushed mesh bracelet with clasp, or with an integrated orange rubber strap with foldover clasp.

Notably the dial on these is the same grained textured dial that Omaga have used on thir precious metal models since December 2024 rather than the revised wave pattern etched into the revised base no-date models.

In line with the rest of the models in the 300m range, this is equipped with the METAS certified 8806 no-date movement visible through the case back’s sapphire crystal.

Oddly and probably controversially, we think that the new orange dial highlights would look best on the Black rubber strap as an option keeping the colourway subtle as it is on the mesh bracelet above.

The Blue Lagoon is delivered right on time for the summer weather and we can see this being a big hit – especially for those who have been on the cusp purchasing a BlackBay 54. If the turquoise colour choices from other brands are anything to go by, this will sell out quickly and I can see waiting lists on the horizon, so if you are interested in this piece, I would encourage you to call your local Tudor dealer without delay.

One small word of caution: due to the the size of this watch being 37mm, the T-fit easy adjustability and the colour and appeal of this for both men and women, this may provoke some challenging conversations with your partner who may be just as eager as you to wear your new purchase as you are in the coming months!

In addition to this new size, Breitling have refreshed the other size offerings now delivering a 36mm, 40mm, 42mm and 44mm and have dropped the largest 46mm. Due to size constraints, the new 36mm variant doesn’t use the new B31 calibre but instead relies on the Breitling Calibre 10 (Breitling’s modified 2892)

In addition and in celebration of their Brand Ambassador, they have also released a ‘Kelly Slater Limited Edition ‘ variant limited to just 500 pieces. The dial features a tropical foliage pattern, capturing the essence of a Hawaiian paradise. For 2025, Longines has introduced reference L3.764.4.16.6 – a model featuring an immaculate, matt white dial that provides exceptional contrast and readability, while maintaining the distinctive DNA of the collection. The hours are marked by extended indexes and raised Arabic numerals, complemented by satinated black and light green arrow hands, all treated with Super-LumiNova® to ensure optimal visibility in all conditions. This pristine dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with black-metallic coating and multi-layer anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The watch comes on a stainless-steel bracelet with beads of-rice links at the centre. The bracelet also features a micro-adjustable, double folding safety clasp.

Instantly recognizable by its dual crowns and internal rotating bezel, this emblematic timepiece unites more than six decades of diving heritage with contemporary precision and timeless design.

This new white model is a continuation of Longines 39mm line of Legend Diver watches. Powered by the Longines Calibre L888.6, the watches are not only COSC certified, but as they are all ISO 6425 certified diving watches, each watch as undergone pressure testing to 125% of its depth rating (375m). Beating at 25,200vph the movement also has a power reserve of 3 days (72 hours) so you should be good take it off on Friday and its still going on Monday.

We were fortunate to get hands on with this piece earlier in the year at an invitation only event in London. This is a stunning watch in person and this particular combination provides the greatest flexibility and legibility. Although this is a 39mm watch and inherently a sweet spot for the vast majority of wearers, due to the internal rotating bezel, the dial and bezel combine to present the illusion of a larger dial suiting larger wrists as well.

In addition, Longines have released an integrated rubber strap for the Legend Diver. Available now in two colours; Black and Blue. This is a beautifully soft and pliable strap that’s perfectly suited to a dive watch, and is extremely comfortable on the wrist. The block-integration of the strap further elevates the feel of the watch and is an ideal alternative to a bracelet, but this also serves another important purpose: further lowering the entry price point of the Legend Diver.

Longines have been going from strength to strength over the last few years and this is no exception. The release of the 39mm Legend Diver in 2023, improving the movement, removing the date to create balance and improve legibility and making them all ISO6425 certified dive watches was a notable step. Todays releases further refines and elevates this already iconic piece.

The Fears Arnos Pewter Blue is the first piece in this new collection, that focuses on modern watches with an angular case shape. The Fears Archive is well stocked with elegant rectangular watches, all with this distinctive tall and thin shape which was last used on the archival 1930 which was limited to just 175 pieces.

The Arnos’ slim and elegant rectangular case takes inspiration from the rectangular watches in the Fears Archive dating from the 1920s and 30s. The Arnos case is expertly machined from 316L Stainless Steel, in Switzerland, to a level usually reserved for precious metals. This precisely milled case has then been finished with a combination of linearly brushed and highly polished surfaces. This tall, slim watch is supremely comfortable due to its elegantly curved profile – the crystal, case and case back all possess the same matching curvature that maps the contours of the wrist perfectly. Complementing the case is a new bespoke (subtly onion-shaped, yet contemporary) winding crown, signed with the Fears Cypher.

Expertly made in Germany, the Arnos Pewter Blue dial features the striking combination of a blue circle within a grey rectangle – the ‘inner dial’ leaves a large negative space that forms the rectangular ‘outer dial’. The outer dial has a distinct hobnail pattern cut by a CNC machine at a precisely-defined angle, then coated in precious Rhodium. The inner dial is constructed from a separate section, which has been machine-turned with a concentric pattern before being coated in galvanic blue. This unique dial then features a set of contemporary-styled roman numerals (the first time they’ve featured on a core model in the modern Fears era) crisply printed in white.

The Arnos is powered by a top-grade Swiss-made, automatic Sellita SW1000 movement (that has been customised for Fears to display just hours / minutes). This small but mighty movement offers a power reserve of 46 hours and features a Fears Blue decorated rotor (which as per Fears tradition, also features the flower of Bristol motif).

The Arnos is presented in a slim, rectangular, wooden box made of solid ash and stained in our bespoke shade of blue. This luxury box was inspired by traditional slim Fears watch boxes used in the past, in which the watch lies flat. Recognising the company’s heritage, we called this box the Amos, after the names of both the 2nd and 3rd Managing Directors.

The top of the box is discreetly engraved with the Fears logo and features a gentle bevel around its edges, whilst the interior is lined in genuine cream suede. The box is secured by a polished chrome push button, keeping your watch safe and secure.

Panerai’s 1950 style case is a glorious mixture of curves and edges that create a unique case shape that simply stands out. Presented here in a matte / brushed finish it suits the utilitarian expectation of an Italian divers watch beautifully. The case is water resistant to 100m which is fine for everything but the most extreme activities.

The dial is a beautifully textured sandwich dial – the hue changes from the hands outwards darkening as the dial gets to the outside edge. The indices displaying a level of warmth which matches the hands and the lettering on the dial keeping things simple with just “Luminor Panerai” above the hands.

The open case back reveals the P.3000 – a manually wound movement with a three day power reserve, achieved through two barrels.​ The design and construction of the P.3000 calibre draw heavily from Panerai’s archival movements used in the 1960s, replicating the functional and aesthetic qualities of these vintage calibres.​

The Panerai Luminor PAM01628 is supplied on an Italian brown leather strap with a secondary black rubber strap for more aquatic activities.

So why is it almost perfect – what’s wrong with it?

Unfortunately in this iteration, this 1950’s case doesn’t have Panerai’s push-button strap release system and instead relies on screwed pins. These are still very secure but wont allow the same ease for changing straps and can still lead to scratched lugs as Panerai’s flat screwdriver is notoriously sharp.

Secondly, while its water resistance is at least better than the Luminor Due (a model that you shouldn’t take anywhere near water – ironic for a who’s crown is protected by a patented protection device to prevent water ingress) and allows swimming and recreational activities, it doesn’t have the resistance that most traditional Luminor’s have of 300m.

However my main regret is that while I understand Panerai’s heritage for large watches, the 47mm size will alienate a lot of buyers to whom this is just too large to wear. Had this come in a 44mm 1950’s case, this would appeal to a much larger audience.

In the 1960s, the world enjoyed a magical season of design and artistic creativity. A new era of international travel and exploration was taking hold, and diving using Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus – or SCUBA diving as it became known became a recreational activity. Divers needed reliable, legible watches for their underwater adventures and so in 1965 Oris created its first dive watch. It had large, luminescent numerals and promised high levels of performance.

The new watch pulls across some of the original design cues including the original quirky dial design, domed sapphire crystal and the bi-directional rotating bezel as well as the use of their historical Oris Logo including the word ‘Waterproof’ below the logo.

The new 60th anniversary edition is not a limited edition and is presented as a 40mm no-date variant with a 20mm lug width, an aluminium bezel insert, on a steel bracelet with an additional leather strap. Like the rest of the Divers65 range it’s water resistant (rather than waterproof) to 100m/10bar and is powered by the Oris calibre 733-1 a no-date iteration of a Sellita movement.

This edition now joins the rest of the Divers 65 and Divers date line up that totals some 95 models which is a lot of choice for a single model!
